Mad Wine Co. Chestnut Teal Apera
This luscious Apera is named after the Chestnut Teal duck which is native to the Murray River, especially around the Sunraysia area of northwest Victoria. Where it was once the “Sherry of choice” throughout Australia, it has now become a limited release and a joy to taste, having had its second bottling since its relaunch in 2018. Expect a sweet wine with a drying finish, with flor sherry notes integrated with nutty rancio and a rounded mouthfeel. A lovely aperitif served at room temperature or slightly chilled.
Product of Mildura, Victoria.
ABV: 17.5%
Size: 750ml
